Premium In-Line Four Engine
Powered by a high-revving In-Line Four engine, the KB399 delivers class-leading power. The engine’s quick-revving nature, direct throttle response and a flexible character combines strong low-mid range torque and screaming high-rpm power—something riders will find particularly enjoyable when track riding. Adding to racetrack enjoyment, a lightweight titanium Akrapovic silencer designed specifically for the KB399 enhances the intoxicating howl of the engine.
Only the Finest Chassis Components
Complementing the compact and highly rigid frame, bimota carefully selected high-grade chassis components that would enhance the KB399’s handling and draw out bimota’s particular riding feel. A fully adjustable ø41 mm inverted Showa SFF-BP front fork is paired with a Showa BFRC lite shock unit on the standard model, and an Öhlins STX46 unit on the ES model. The Brembo brake package includes radial-mount Stylema monobloc calipers—high-spec components from a highly regarded manufacturer.

The looks are pure bimota. Racy styling inspired by the KB998 Rimini integrates bimota’s signature aesthetic beauty and functionality. The bodywork—made from dry carbon-fibre on the ES model’s upper, side and lower cowlings—is designed and sculpted by bimota craftsmen in Italy and even features winglets like the KB399’s WorldSBK sibling. Even the trellis frame is painted in a colour newly developed for this model. Manufactured in the Rimini region, machined billet aluminium pieces like the upper and lower triple clamps, and steering stem cap—as well as the ES model’s clip-on handlebars and footpeg assemblies—add high-quality touches much like the perfect accessories complement an elegant evening dress.
