Vintage Inspired

A timeless tribute to bimota’s storied past, the KB4 fuses neo-retro elegance with modern precision. Its lightweight handling and legendary racing spirit meet the thrilling pulse of a 142 PS engine. Thanks to its innovative rear radiator layout, the KB4 achieves a short wheelbase akin to that of a 250cc machine, enhancing agility and performance. The fourth-generation KB4 proudly carries the legacy of the KB name, blending tradition with cutting-edge innovation. Designed for the streets, it captures the soul of a cherished era while delivering exhilarating modern performance. Ride the legacy. Experience the evolution.

Innovative Design

The whole of the KB4 is unique, its innovative exterior unseen anywhere else. The design is instantly recognisable as “bimota” and “KB4.”
Light Weight

One example of function pursued to its extreme is the KB4’s light weight. To achieve this, both weight reduction and a chassis design that does not let the rider feel its weight were pursued. The result is light, nimble handling in a compact package.
Rideable Art

Down to the smallest detail, the KB4 exudes high quality—from the carbon-crafted paintwork and machined alloy parts to OZ Racing forged wheels and a real leather seat. Its torqueful engine and advanced electronics further reflect the same standard. It is no exaggeration to call the KB4 rideable art.

Engineering Excellence Meets Striking Design

A Machine That Stirs The Senses

Every time you approach a corner, your heart is captivated by the refined handling. Twist the throttle and the smooth, powerful response stirs your senses.

For bimota, passion is what the rider should feel when controlling the bike. That same passion should also be felt when admiring it parked in the garage.

In either case, the KB4 stirs your senses.

Under-Seat Radiator System: The Key to Ideal Weight Distribution

In order to achieve bimota's ideal front-rear weight distribution (54/46), the radiator is located under the seat allowing the engine to be positioned farther forward. Also, the KB4 combines a short wheelbase (equivalent to that of a 250cc class bike) with a long swingarm, achieving both agile handling and outstanding traction.

More agile, more flexible. The KB4 delivers a riding experience perfectly in tune with the rider's intentions.

Retro Style Meets Modern Performance

The KB4 combines retro aesthetics with the performance of a modern sportbike. Aerodynamically efficient winglets, lightweight carbon-fibre bodywork, and a slim tail cowl evoke bimota’s spirit of racing, highlighting this bike’s unique blend of performance and design. The single-piece seat offers sporty ergonomics, while the OZ Racing forged aluminium alloy wheels contribute to nimble handling.

Nimble Handling

The KB4’s frame is a composite structure typical of bimota. At the front, a trellis frame connects the engine with the steering head, while a plate machined from a single block of aluminium alloy connects the engine to the swingarm at the rear. This unique, highly advanced structure achieves both high rigidity and a compact shape.

The combination of this frame structure with Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes is the key to nimble handling, allowing the KB4 to respond exactly as the rider wishes as they trace their intended line through the corner.

Inexhaustible Engineering Elegance

KB4 is designed and assembled by hand in our spiritual home and workshop in Rimini.
